On behalf of Christenson Developments, we invite you to Connectivity, a lecture, workshop, and wayfinding walk facilitated by Dr. Karen Lee, a global specialist in healthy built environment and social determinants of health.
Dr. Karen Lee will lead a conversation about how to create a healthy, walkable, connected city, and discuss case studies of feasible and low-cost solutions. The day’s activities will use the 105th Avenue corridor as a case study to explore how Edmonton’s mature neighbourhoods can flourish as vibrant, walkable, healthy communities.
Dr. Lee was instrumental in engaging the citizens of New York City and implementing a comprehensive active transportation plan, involving multiple departments and public-private sector partnerships under Mayor Bloomberg.
Join us as she shares her city-building expertise in this unique, collaborative set of events.
