Columbia Ave Pop Up

About the Event

For one day, a MacEwan University parking lot will be transformed into a vibrant public space where food trucks, music, dance workshops, interactive art and much more will come together to provide a vibrant temporary gathering place for local community members, businesses, and students.

The purpose of having a pop up is 1) to demonstrate that creating a healthy urban space doesn’t have to take a long time or cost a lot of money, 2) to foster relaxed interaction at a fun, active outdoor event, and 3) to build connections between MacEwan University, landowners, and the broader residential and business communities north of 105 Ave.

This is a relaxed, fun, and 100% community-led event.
